A helicopter piloted by a flying instructor was hijacked by three unidentified gunmen and used to break infamous gangster, Rédoine Faïd, from a French prison. After a dramatic escape, the helicopter was found abandoned and partially burned out in a field near Charles de Gaulle airport. The pilot was released unharmed.
