Khaled Beydoun, a law professor who identifies as an Arab Muslim, alleged that a Delta captain had grabbed him by the neck. After the plane had landed, Beydoun was lodging a complaint with the captain in which he claimed he had been told to move from his preferred seat, located in the front row. The reason given was that it was an emergency; he was not however provided any other information of what the emergency was and he believed it to have been a religiously and racially motivated decision. Beydoun posted about his ordeal on Twitter.
