A passenger on a Brussels Airlines flight from Accra to Brussels engaged in a heated altercation with flight attendants. The passenger complained to a male flight attendant that two men sat on either side of his mother-in-law were elbowing her. The passenger alleged that the flight attendant put his hands on him. The female supervisor then intervened to calm the passenger down. Video footage showed the passenger shouting and his spitting in her face; the supervisor wiped the spit off and slapped him. The unruly passenger then slapped the supervisor back, resulting in him being restrained by passengers and flight attendants.
