Yoel, 19, was forced to pay €60 (c. £55) by easyJet for boarding a flight with a laptop from San Pablo Airport to Bristol in November 2019. Yoel attempted to get a refund from easyJet for the fine, however, this was denied. Yoel took the airline to court and the court ordered the airline to pay back the fine with interest and were fined themselves.
