Three suspects on motorcycles stole an estimated 42 million Kenyan Shillings (c. £331,365) from an aircraft at Odda airstrip. The aircraft was transporting the money from Nairobi to Moyale Town for Equity bank. Roba Diba, a Moyale bank operations manager, was later charged in connection with robbery and with using violence against Nelson Langat, a Wells Fargo Limited officer who was escorting the cash.
