An Indian woman, who had already flown from Mali to the French capital, was arrested at Charles de Gaulle Airport for having a loaded gun in her possession. She was travelling with her children from Bamako. She was given an 8-month suspended sentence, fined €5,000 (c. £4,420), and a ban on possession of weapons for five years on 14 August.
