A 39-year-old Chinese national was caught attempting to steal a bag containing VND14 million (c. £475) and a mobile worth over VND20 million (c. £680) from an overhead compartment on a Vietnam Airlines flight from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City. The victim caught the perpetrator with his bag and filmed him putting it back in the compartment.
