Protestors gathered to block the Ben Gurion International Airport approach road in order to prevent Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu from travelling to the US for the official signing of the Bahrain¬–Israel normalisation (‘Abraham’) accords. Most of the protestors were angry with Netanyahu’s international travel plans as the country prepared for a further lockdown rather than opposition to the accords.
