It was reported that six men, including five in Texas, Oklahoma and California, were found to be involved in an international frequent flyer fraud operation, which involved Polish national Wojciech Borkowski, 43, hacking into customers’ airline miles accounts and purchasing flights using stolen air miles on behalf of unsuspecting customers in the US. Borkowski was arrested in Poland in May and extradited to the US on 11 December to stand trial.
