Nasreen Abu Bakr, a Palestinian artist, refused to fly to Tel Aviv because of the alleged treatment she received by El Al Airlines security at Berlin’s Schönefeld Airport. Bakr claims that security told her that she would have to be strip searched in the presence of a male security guard and her carry-on luggage searched. Rather than following the security instructions, Bakr chose to miss her flight.
