Abdulaziz Yari, former governor of Zamfara state, and Ahmadu Fintiri, governor of Adamawa state, were accused of refusing to adhere to COVID-19 protocols at Aminu Kano Airport and Port Harcourt International Airport, respectively. An investigation was launched into the incidents and, if found guilty, they face a minimum of two months in prison.
