Ximena García, a pilot for Interjet – along with another woman who works for Interjet – was suspended by the company after she posted on social media that ‘a bomb should fall on the Zocalo’, where President Andrés Manuel López Obrador and his supporters had gathered during the Independence Day celebrations. The other female Interjet worker commented stating that she supported García. García apologised for her comment.
