1st Detect Corporation has announced the launch of the TRACER 1000, the world’s first European Civil Aviation Conference certified desktop mass spectrometry explosives trace detector (MS-ETD) – which is intended to be an improvement from ion mobility spectrometry ETDs (IMS-ETD).
The TRACER 1000, is equipped with a nearly endless threat library that can be updated instantly, has a lower false alarm rate than the older IMS-ETDs, and near-100% uptime.
