A report released by Canada’s Transportation Safety Board into a collision that occurred in May 2019 between a Menzies Aviation fuel truck and a Jazz Aviation DHC-8 at Lester B. Pearson International Airport, Toronto, found that passenger non-compliance regarding seatbelt use and personal belongings significantly impacted upon the crew’s ability to safely evacuate the aircraft.
