Hassan El Hajj Hassan (left), a Canadian passport-holder and Meliad Farah, an Australian and Lebanese citizen, were tried in absentia and found guilty of carrying out the 2012 terrorist attack at Bourgas Airport, in which five Israeli tourists and a Bulgarian bus driver died and nearly 40 people were seriously injured. The pair have been sentenced to life imprisonment and Interpol has issued red notices for their arrest.
