Mark Allen Hicks, 47, assaulted an Alaska Airlines gate agent, Jill Simpson Lopotsky, by walking over her in attempt to get on a flight to Sitka after she had refused him boarding due to his level of intoxication. Hicks was on a layover at Seattle-Tacoma International having arrived from Sacramento. Earlier, the man had approached the gate agents without wearing a face mask and been instructed to put one on.
