A female Filipino passenger was duped into handing her passport and 500 pesos (c. £7) over to Joseph Pascasio who was posing as an immigration official. The man then demanded that the woman deposit 3000 pesos (c. £42) at a money remittance centre for the return of her passport. The woman missed her flight to Dubai as she was unable to make the deposit. The man was later arrested and found to have previously committed similar crimes targeting airline passengers.
