A 16-year-old Texas boy driving a pickup struck six cyclists who were training for an Ironman race on Saturday, 25 September. The victims were training on Saturday morning when the young driver approached their group, slowed down the truck and then accelerated to blow exhaust smoke at them, a witness said. Four of the riders had to be hospitalized, authorities said. Two of the victims were helicoptered from the scene.
