27 JUNE 2018: FORT WAYNE, INDIANA

An unnamed flight attendant allegedly ordered the removal of five passengers, including a child, from a Delta flight to Atlanta (operated by SkyWest) over a dispute with a passenger, Robyn Rodgers, who had requested the flight attendant stop standing over her while she switched her mobile phone to flight mode. Three other passengers came to Rodger’s defence after the flight attendant allegedly became overly aggressive. Delta refused to pay for accommodation for the passengers, who are reportedly considering suing the airline. Video footage of the incident, which Rodgers claims was racially motivated, was released online.
