The passenger who punched and broke a flight attendant’s teeth has been sentenced to 15 months in federal prison. The woman, Vyvianna Quinonez, 29, admitted punching a Southwest Airlines flight attendant as she was being asked to wear a mask and fasten her seatbelt. She was also ordered to pay more than $30,000 in fines and restitution, officials said and banned from flying for three years. She will also be on supervised release for three years and required to attend anger management classes for the assault aboard a flight from Sacramento to San Diego, the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of California said in a release.
