A jury failed to reach a verdict regarding Reverend Peter McConnell, 63, a British vicar, who had allegedly sexually assaulted an American 23-year-old male student during a British Airways flight from Philadelphia to Heathrow in March last year. The student claimed McConnell moved seats to sit next to him, began talking about sex acts and later grabbed his crotch as he slept. McConnell denied all allegations. He faces a retrial.
