3 AUGUST 2020: PITUFFIK, GREENLAND

Employees at Thule Air Base coordinated the rescue of a ship that had emitted a distress call after a leak was discovered in the vessel. A Royal Danish Air Force plane, which took off from Thule Air Base, picked up the distress call and sent the message to the air base. A tugboat was then sent out to rescue the ship and her six crew members.
