Kyong Chol Kim, 48, was drunk, disruptive and attempted to hit a flight attendant on a Hawaiian Airlines flight from Honolulu to South Korea which caused the flight to return to Honolulu in February this year. He was jailed for six months and ordered to pay Hawaiian Airlines $172,000 (c. £138,300) for the costs incurred.
