A stowaway on a Kenya Airways flight from Nairobi fell 3,500ft from the landing gear into a back garden of a house in Clapham, south London, after the landing gear was lowered for arrival at London Heathrow. The body hit the ground a metre away from a tenant, John Baldock, who was sunbathing. A plane-spotter witnessed the body fall from the aircraft. The stowaway is suspected to have been an employee at Nairobi airport which allowed him access to the airside.
