30 MARCH 2019: BASSETERRE, SAINT KITTS AND NEVIS

Ian ‘Patches’ Liburd, a government minister, allegedly entered a secure area with a security official at Robert L. Bradshaw International Airport and refused to undergo security checks. He verbally abused security officers who insisted on the security check, then walked onto the airport ramp and passed a package to a passenger boarding a flight. It was later alleged that a female security officer was threatened that she would lose her job for having insisted on his undergoing security checks.
