Protestors from the ‘Platform for Defence of Health and Education’ demonstrated around Honduras against the privatisation of state hospitals. They attempted to enter Toncontin International Airport. Police retaliated using tear gas; 25 people were injured. The airport tarmac was briefly evacuated causing three flights to divert to San Pedro Sula.
