Two men were arrested, and the men and their wives charged with preventing and assaulting airport intelligence unit officers at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport. The couples had arrived at the airport from Dubai. One couple was travelling with a young girl who was wearing gold jewellery. When the officers enquired about the jewellery, asking for a receipt, the female partner became agitated and slapped the officers.
