Steven Glen Banks, 56, threatened to bomb the offices and aircraft of Avianca Airlines following a dispute over USD $4000 (c. £2,900), which he believed the airline owed him. He allegedly told a member of staff that he was an expert in C4 explosives and also threatened to “skin” and “gut” the employee.
