6 June 2022: Gatwick Airport, London

A woman paralyzed from the neck down was left onboard an aircraft for more than an hour and a half after all other passengers had been deplaned. Gatwick officials issued an apology to which the woman said the airport needs to “get its act together.” She did praise the British Airways staff as “fantastic,” saying they were very apologetic and provided her with refreshments during the wait for the Gatwick airport staff to arrive.
