Flights from Puvirnituq and Inukjuak airports were delayed after Air Inuit received a threatening call in which it was claimed a flight leaving Montreal had an explosive device on board and that hostages would be taken. The call, which was declared a hoax, was found to have been made by an inmate of a detention centre who had managed to steal a guard’s phone.
