A German-Armenian man, 29, was arrested after driving into crowds in Berlin in what appears to be a vehicle ramming attack. One person died and more than 30 others were injured when the man, named only at Gor H., rammed shoppers. The person killed was a teacher out for a field trip with students, who were among the injured. The man drove the car onto the sidewalk twice. An investigator stated: “(This was) by no means an accident – someone on the rampage, an ice-cold killer.” One eyewitness said: “He drove at full throttle. At no point did he slow down.” Witnesses helped apprehend and hold him down until police arrived, after he plowed the car into a shop.
