Houthi rebel forces carried out a number of armed drone attacks on Abha International Airport and Jizan Regional Airport, both of which are located close to the border with Yemen and have come under attack as part of the ongoing dispute between the Saudi-backed Yemen government and Yemen’s Houthi rebels, who are backed by Iran. Numerous civilians were killed and injured in the attacks despite the Saudi-led coalition managing to intercept some of them.
