Rapiscan Systems’ 920CT checkpoint screening system has achieved C3 approval from the European Civil Aviation Conference (ECAC) under its Common Evaluation Process for Explosive Detection Systems for Cabin Baggage. The 920CT’s 3D volumetric imaging, allows passengers to leave liquids and laptops in their carry-on luggage during the screening process at checkpoints.
