Paul Manafort, an advisor and 2016 campaign chairman to Donald Trump, was stopped by U. S. customs officials at Miami International Airport recently. He was denied boarding and removed from a flight headed to Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
Manafort was denied the ability to travel by U. S. Customs and Border Protection, Alvaro Zabaleta, a police spokesman said. “His US Passport was revoked and he could not take his flight…[there was] no further incident,” the spokesman said.
The incident happened around on Sunday evening, March 20. The reason given was that he was carrying a revoked passport.
