SITA has provided communication and passenger processing systems at Israel’s new Ramon Airport, which opened in January 2019. The system was implemented in the airport before its opening date. SITA’s communication system will allow stakeholders to exchange operational information. The technology includes SITA’s BagMessage system, which provides airports and airlines with a clear view of where each bag is on its journey. Additionally, information will be shared with Ben Gurion Airport. SITA’s common-use systems include fixed check-in and boarding points as well as self-service check-in kiosks and boarding gates, supporting a faster passenger flow through the airport.
