SITA Selected in Algiers, Krabi, Mexicali and Buenos Aires

SITA has been chosen to provide key systems to support Algeria’s new international terminal at Houari Boumediene International Airport. SITA’s Airport Management Solution is a suite of integrated software applications to allow the airport to centrally manage everything from passenger processing, baggage handling to the real-time allocation of fundamental resources across the terminal. SITA has also installed more than 156 common-use check-in and boarding gates, a dozen self-service kiosks, and implemented a baggage reconciliation system and displays screens across the terminal.

Thailand’s Krabi Airport has announced it will be rolling out SITA technology systems in collaboration with Samart Comtech Co. Ltd. The systems include AirportConnect® Open, SITA’s common-use passenger processing platform and self-service check-in kiosks at both domestic and international terminals.

Meanwhile, Grupo Aeroportuario Del Pacífico (GAP) has announced that its Mexicali International Airport has transitioned onto the SITA AirportConnect Open Platform making it GAP’s 11th airport to do so. At Mexicali, SITA will provide common-use self-service kiosks, check-in areas and boarding gates running on AirportConnect Open.

Additionally, SITA has announced that it will be introducing its self-service check-in kiosks and Scan&Fly bag drop kiosks to Buenos Aires Ezeiza International Airport. In the first phase, SITA is installing 34 common-use self-service check-in kiosks and 20 Scan&Fly self-service bag-drop kiosks.
