While more than 100 people waited for a parade Sunday morning, 20 March, in Strepy-Bracquegnies, Belgium, a car crashed into crowd at high speed.
The car smashed into carnival performers, leaving six people dead and seriously injuring 10 more.
Around 150 people gathered early on Sunday for the town’s annual parade. The town is located about 30 miles south of Brussels.
Currently authorities say the incident is not being considered as terror-related. The prosecutor, Damien Verheyen also denied reports that the crash involved a car being chased by police.
