Suspect in Brooklyn Subway Shooting Caught

Frank James, the man suspected in the Brooklyn subway shooting has been apprehended, according to New York Police. The 62-year-old man was found via an anonymous tip line and arrested Wednesday afternoon.

James is suspected of lighting smoke bombs in a subway car nearing the 36th Street station in Brooklyn and then opening fire inside the train car. Twenty-nine people were reported injured, ten of those were shot. However, all survived. He had numerous arrests on his record.

He is being charged with multiple crimes including violating the law that prohibits terrorist and other violent attacks against mass transport systems, the U. S. Attorney for Eastern New York, Breon Peace said.
