A van with 30 people onboard crashed near the Texas-Mexico border. The driver and nine others died. The police believe the people were migrants trying to illegally enter the United States. Twenty people were injured, some critically.
The one-vehicle crash occurred on northbound US 281, south of the Falfurrias US Border Patrol Checkpoint, Brooks County, Texas, according to The Texas Department of Public Safety. The Department of Public Safety is working with the Mexican consulate and U.S. Border Patrol to identify the victims.
