A car was driven into a police roadblock in Jerusalem amid heightened clashes between Israel and Palestine Sunday, May 16. The vehicle ramming attack happened in Sheikh Jarrah, an Israeli-annexed part of East Jerusalem, where Palestinian families may be evicted. Video of the event showed the vehicle driving at high speed into the police roadblock. Police there called the attack deliberate. The police opened fire, killing the driver. Six people were injured and taken to hospital to receive medical attention.
