10 OCTOBER 2019: LONDON, ENGLAND

Extinction Rebellion targeted London City Airport with several protests. James Brown, former Paralympic cyclist, climbed on top of a British Airways plane, glued himself to the fuselage and then live-streamed the rationale for his action. An Aer Lingus flight from the airport to Dublin was delayed during take-off due to a protestor who refused to sit down; he was removed from the flight. Additionally, Extinction Rebellion protests took place outside the airport.
