It was reported that Ivan Cuadrado (a.k.a. Esmerelda Kane-Jaymes) is suing Frontier Airlines for removing him from a flight from Washington DC to Denver and failing to reimburse him for a subsequent night in a hotel in September 2016. Cuadrado is the president of the Royal, Sovereign and Imperial Court of the Alamo Empire, a charity that assists the LGBTQ+ community in San Antonio, and he claims that the airline discriminated against him because he was carrying his drag makeup, wig and crown in his carry-on luggage. The airline claimed they removed him because he was a security risk.
