At least nine people were injured when a hot air balloon packed with pyrotechnics exploded over a crowd during the popular Tazaungdaing Festival of Lights in Myanmar. Festival organisers had invited participants to launch unmanned balloons full of fireworks to usher in a new season and one of those balloons burst into flames and plunged 300 feet towards revellers on the ground.
