Reports emerged that Geneva Airport’s Head of Security and Deputy Head of Security were dismissed on 9 July for corruption involving two publicly funded security contracts that were awarded to a security firm in Geneva in February 2018. The head of security was imprisoned for a month and half earlier this year in connection with this case.
