Gunfire was exchanged between the Free Papua Organization armed separatist (KKSB) group and the Mobile Brigade Corps at Mugi Airport. The Corps were securing a helicopter that had arrived at the airport when the militants fired shots at them. The Corps retaliated injuring two militants, Ipda Rahman and Bharada Ravi Fitrah Kurniawan, and killing one, Bharada Aldi.
