Hashem Djaiz, 41, was sentenced to 20 months’ imprisonment after being caught by Border Force officers with numerous dangerous items hidden in his luggage and the luggage of his family as they returned from a holiday in Cyprus last August. The haul included eight knuckledusters and six batons.
