Five passengers were taken to hospital from an Air Transat flight destined to Fort Lauderdale. Passengers were said to be experiencing symptoms of faintness, dizziness, vomiting and sore eyes. A total of twelve passengers were affected by this. The plane was at the de-icing station when the incident occurred.
