A taxi operator protest blocked traffic on the road leading to Entebbe International Airport, which prevented passengers from travelling to the airport. The protestors claim that Mr Stephen Kidde, the chairperson for Entebbe Stages Drivers and Conductors Association, and his committee have illegally overstayed their leadership role. Police used tear gas and bullets to disperse the crowd. At least 15 protestors were arrested.
