A 42-year-old woman was found with 780 grams of liquid cocaine in a pouch stitched between the muscle and skin of her leg at El Dorado International Airport. The woman was travelling from Cali and was waiting to board her connecting flight to Madrid. Police monitoring the departures area of the airport detected the woman after they noticed her demeanour change when they were close to her and she was limping in pain. The woman had stitched the drugs in herself and was taken to the hospital to undergo emergency surgery to remove them.
