A suicide bomber detonated a device outside offices belonging to eBe, a construction company located near Jalalabad Airport. Other militants then stormed the building and a gun battle between armed forces and the militants ensued. 16 employees of eBe and an intelligence officer were killed in the attack; nine others were wounded. All five attackers were killed, two by setting off their suicide bombs and three by gun fire. The attack lasted more than five hours.
